In Kundalini Yoga a kriya is a series of postures, breath, and sound that work toward a specific outcome.
Practicing a kriya initiates a sequence of physical and mental changes that affect the body, mind, and spirit simultaneously.
The seers of kundalini kriya yoga have said, 'Control of mind is not necessary. Just go on practicing the kriyas and let the mind do what it wants. In the course of time, the evolution of consciousness will take you to that point where the mind will no longer trouble you, it will be naturally focused and clear. 


One of the beauties of Kundalini Yoga is that you can experience the benefits in a very short time. A regular practice will help you feel happier, healthier, and more energized; the powerful breathwork and kriyas will awaken more creativity making you feel more confident, inspired and productive.

Modules : Level 1 & 2
 

Course Description:

The course presents strong emphasis on the Traditional Kundalini Yoga series, Trainees are expected to maintain a daily Yoga practice during the training.

The course includes following areas of study.

  1. Kundalini Kriyas level 1 & 2 – Kriyas Asanas (Total 100)

  2. Kundalini Breathing exercises

  3. Philosophy of Kundalini Yoga

  4. Teaching methodology Kundalini Asanas

  5. Kundalini Meditations, Active & Passive Techniques
     

Course Objectives

  1. Trainees will be able to practice and teach Kundalini Level 1 & 2 Asana, create a sequence for different chakras and levels.

  2. Trainees will be able to use Yoga accessories Like belt , bricks and bolsters to reach desired goal of Yoga also how to practice / teach Injury free Yoga practice.

  3. Trainees will be able to teach led classes on Level 1 & 2 series, Pranayama and meditation sessions

  4. Trainees will learn Philosophy of Kundalini Yoga

  5. Trainees will learn Yogic breathing techniques called Pranayama

  6. Trainees will learn Active and passive meditation techniques.
     

Kriyas & Teaching Methodology

1st week: Led class focus on basic Kundalini Kriyas for daily practice, Surya namaskar (with mantras)  breathwork and Meditation
2nd week Focus on Teaching Methodology, alignments and adjustments. Using Yoga accessories like belt, bricks, bolsters, Trainees lead class

3rd week: Led class focus on Intermediate Kriyas, Chakras and Philosophy. Methodology Meditation, Trainee sequencing a class to work with specifics chakras.
4th week:: Led class focused on Advance Kriyas,.
5th Week Practical exam Trainee leading a class

Total 50 Kriyas, Surya Namaskar with mantras will be covered in this Training
