Calming the mind is Yoga. Not just standing on the head.
According to Ayurveda Meditation is our ability to contact our true Self and Consciousness (Atman or Purusha) which is the source of life and intelligence. Conversely, Meditation is the ability to clear out the negative aspects of our consciousness, harmful subconscious habits and impulses that cause pain and suffering. Meditation helps promote our highest impulses and also roots out those which are harmful and intractable.
Meditation is an important tool in Ayurveda for healing the mind and body. It is prescribed as a part of its lifestyle regimen both for health maintenance and life-enhancement.

In this Course you will learn, and practice different active and passive Meditation Techniques to navigate your Inner Journey.
Course Duration: 4 weeks or 2 weeks
Course Description:
The course presents strong emphasis on Mindfulness, Yoga Nidra and Meditation.
Trainees are expected to maintain a daily Meditation practice during the training.
The course includes following areas of study:
Dynamic and Passive Meditation techniques
Yoga Nidra
Teaching methodology.
Total 10 Meditation Techniques will be covered in this Training.
Course Objectives
Trainees will practice and teach Meditation techniques for different levels.
Trainees will learn scientific aspect of Meditation, mind, chakras, nadis and how to prepare the body to reach desired goal of meditation.
Trainees will be able to lead Meditation classes
Meditation practice & Teaching Methodology
1st week: Led class focus on dynamic and passive Meditation techniques for daily practice.
2nd week: Focus on Meditation Teaching Methodology
3rd week: Focus on Meditation techniques, Trainees lead class.
4th week: Meditation techniques for different levels, Practical exam Trainee leading a class
